In todays's lesson we started to think about what logo we would like for our artist, as since we have been researching and designing for our own digipak we will need this logo for our designs. We decided we want a handwriting type style in order to make the album look personal as if the artist has hand written it. We experimented with styles on dafont.com and found these two which we are keen to use, we may either create this on the computer or actually hand write it in order to be creative and look effective.
Well done Alice. Your blog is dynamio, with effective combintation of images and text. Your digipak analysis is informative. Add more key terminology to make your ideas more analytical though: close up shot /framing / compostiion / connotations / symbolism...
ReplyDeleteI like your handwriting idea. Upload images of other artists who use handwriting font style. Are you going to download a font programme to create your handwriting style? This would be a good idea if pos. so you can write about it in the exam.
Overall, you're working hard, well done. Upload some raw footage to your blog, otherwise the examiner won't realise you've been filming too...
